Dear Families and Friends of Saint Joseph Catholic School,

As we near the close of the 2025 calendar year, I offer heartfelt thanks for your continued support of St. Joseph Catholic School. Your generosity allows us to live our mission: to form young hearts and minds as Disciples of Christ, Tenacious Scholars and 21st-century Learners. Together, we guide our children not only to excel academically but also to grow in faith, virtue, and love of God and neighbor.

Our goal is to raise $85,000 to continue to provide an exceptional Catholic Education for every student.

This year, our Annual Appeal focuses on three priorities that directly advance our mission and benefit our students:

Investing in Professional Development

Our teachers participate in workshops and conferences throughout the year that renew both their skills and their spirits. By integrating new ideas and faith-filled strategies into their classrooms, they inspire a love of learning rooted in the joy of Christ. For the second year in a row, Saint Joseph students achieved the top STAR standardized test score in Reading and the second-highest score in Math out of 208 elementary schools that make up the Los Angeles Archdiocese. This achievement reflects the power of a faith-guided education and our school’s commitment to forming the whole child: mind, body, and soul.

Enhancing Campus Security with New Perimeter Fencing

A secure learning environment helps every child feel safe, confident, and ready to grow. Installing new campus perimeter fencing will strengthen our school’s safety measures, protect our students and staff, and provide parents with greater peace of mind. By ensuring our campus is both welcoming and secure, we create the foundation for faith, learning, and community to flourish.

Every gift, large or small, strengthens St. Joseph School as a community of faith, learning, and love. Your generosity helps ensure that Christ remains at the center of all we do, and that every child is known, cared for, and challenged to reach their God-given potential.

The goal of The Annual Fund for St. Joseph School LB is to advance the mission and the long-term viability of St. Joseph Catholic School. Unrestricted Annual Fund gifts support every aspect of the school, including:



Attracting and retaining a well-qualified faculty and staff, as well as continuing to secure salaries and benefits for all



Enhancing academic excellence, support, and enrichment



Maintaining our school facilities



Strengthening our financial foundation

The Annual Fund is the best way possible for current parents, alumni, the family of alumni, grandparents, parishioners, friends, and organizations to help make a financial difference in the future of St. Joseph Catholic School.

There are multiple benefits of a strong Annual Fund:



Our teachers pa All gifts count –no matter the size –a strong Annual Fund has at its core high participation from all groups –parents, parishioners, grandparents, alumni, parents of alumni and friends –representing the school community’s commitment not only to Catholic education, but to continuing the mission of St. Joseph.



Gifts made to the Annual Fund are unrestricted –which allows the school’s leadership teams to allocate those funds to the areas of greatest need within the school.



Every gift helps to fill the gap – The actual cost of educating each student is not covered by tuition alone. Gifts made to the annual fund help aid the overall education of each student at St. Joseph Catholic School.



St. Joseph’s Catholic School is recognized by the IRS as a not for profit 501c3 charitable organization. Your donation to the School is tax deductible to the full extent of the law. However, certain donations in which donors receive a good or service in return for a donation are not tax deductible or may be only partially deductible. Please consult with your financial advisor for the tax implications of your donation. Donations to St. Joseph Catholic School are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
